Dijon Mustard Chicken

A light mustard sauce is delicious with chicken. Mustard can be overpowering so it’s better in moderation and it needs other flavours to mellow it out a bit. Some Japanese ingredients go well with mustard.

Here’s the recipe.

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard

  • 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise

  • 2 cloves of minced garlic

  • 1 inch of minced ginger

  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon of Mirin

  • Make the marinade and rub it into the chicken and leave it in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

  • Heat the oven to 350°F and bake the chicken in an oven safe dish for 30 minutes. Flip the chicken over at 15 minutes to ensure that the other side browns as well.
