I bought a huge bag of mixed lettuce. I had used it in salads for a few days and it still seemed that I hadn’t made a dent in the amount left. I found a recipe for stir fried Romaine lettuce that sounded interesting so I made a changes and tried it with my mixed lettuce.
Here’s my recipe.
400 g of mixed baby lettuce
3 cloves of minced garlic
1/4 cup of chopped scallions
1 tablespoon of dried chilli flakes
1 teaspoon of Chinese cooking wine
salt to taste
Heat some sesame oil in a pan and add the garlic. Once the garlic browns, add the rest of the ingredients and stir fry it all. When the lettuce is wilted, your dish is done.
