Saucy Steamed Vegetables

I made a simple vegetable dish with a light and flavourful sauce.

This is my recipe.

  • 1 small head of broccoli broken up into florets

  • 2 cups of spinach

  • 1 bell pepper cut into strips

  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon of miso paste

  • 2 tablespoons of sesame seeds



  • Toast the sesame seeds until the start to pop and then grind them in a spice grinder.

  • Make a sauce with the sesame seeds, soy sauce and miso paste.

  • Steam the vegetables until tender.

  • And toss them with the sauce.
