Orange and Ginger Salmon

Salmon can be rich or light and refreshing depending on how its cooked. This recipe is on the lighter side with a dish of citrus and ginger.

Here’s my recipe.

  • sesame oil

  • 1 medium orange juiced

  • 2 inch piece of ginger

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce

  • 2 habanero peppers (optional)

  • green onions sliced

  • normal sized salmon filet


Liquidize orange juice, ginger, habanero peppers and soy sauce in the food processor and marinate the salmon in this mix for at least 1 hour. Remove the salmon from the salmon from the marinade and set the marinade aside.

Heat some sesame oil and cook the remaining marinade down until it thickens and then add the salmon, skin side down. When the skin crisps, flip the salmon and cook the other side for about 5 minutes.
