Tangy Green Bean and Bell Pepper Saute

Crunchy green beans and bell peppers  stand up well to the Asian seasonings used in this dish.

Here’s my recipe:

Ingredients:

  • sesame oil

  • 3 gloves of garlic minced

  • 1 inch piece of ginger minced

  • 1/2 onion diced

  • 1 cup green beans sliced into bite size pieces

  • 1 bell pepper diced

  • soy sauce

  • 1 habanero pepper sliced (optional)

  • 2 tablespoons vinegar

  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Method:

  • Steam the green beans for 10 minutes

  • Heat some sesame oil in a pan

  • Add the ginger and garlic to the oil and once they soften

  • Add the onion and cook until its translucent

  • Then add the green beans, bell peppers, habanero peppers, soy sauce and vinegar

  • Cook until the vegetables are tender

  • Sprinkle the sesame seeds and mix
