Sesame Broccoli and Carrot Stir Fry

I had some broccoli and carrots in my fridge and I wanted to cook them in a simple and healthy way.

Here’s the recipe:

Ingredients:

  • sesame oil

  • soy sauce

  • 1 medium carrot diced

  • 1/2 a head of broccoli

  • 3 cloves of minced garlic

  • 1 medium onion diced

  • sesame seeds

  • salt to taste

Method:

  • Steam the broccoli and carrot until they are tender but still maintain some firmness.

  • Heat the sesame oil in a pan

  • Add the onions and once they are translucent

  • Add the garlic and once the garlic softens

  • Add the broccoli and carrots

  • Season with soy sauce to taste

  • Sprinkle sesame seeds

You get to enjoy the freshness of the broccoli and carrots with the subtle sesame flavour.
